With a BA in Public Relations and Communication and a MA in Culture, Communication and Globalization, Carmen worked for more than 15 years in the business sector in companies as Coca-Cola and LEGO Group. She assumed various roles, and what she liked the most in all those roles was to develop people and support them in discovering their best selves.
Having great passion for supporting people in their development and seeing what coaching and mindfulness brought to her own life, she decided to become a coach and mindfulness trainer. She founded her own company, CM-CAMP, and since 2015, she has been coaching people from more than 30 countries, on four continents. Curious and courageous individuals who wanted to succeed professionally while having a balanced life and time for themselves, family and friends.
She is certified by Coaching Training Institute, International Coach Federation, Center for Mindfulness from UMass and Santa Barbara Institute. She followed courses in Positive Psychology and Coaching with Compassion.
She is specialized in the areas of stress management, authentic leadership, women in leadership, diversity & inclusion, impostor syndrome & inner critic, coaching presence, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, emotional balance and self-compassion.
Carmen’s strengths are courage and curiosity, active listening and communication, empathy, multicultural understanding, loving-kindness, compassion and determination.
She is very curious, sensitive yet strong, loves nature, people and cultures. She can be very active (running marathons, hiking in the mountains, diving and practicing yoga) and very still (meditating, reading, making jigsaw puzzles and reflecting).
Humanitarian work is also very close to her heart. She is part of the Humanitarian Coaching Network and United World Coaches, supporting the well-being and development of UN, Red Cross and other NGOs’ leaders, particularly those serving in the most isolated and complex posts.
